Great for Exercision Indoors
I had the opportunity to get this book as it’s far too hot outside to do any kind of exercise. I’m always on the prawl for fun exercise books and this one delivers. My favorite thing about this book? It’s very funny! It’s written in a very relatable way. It’s also geared toward beginners like me. Although some of the exercises I’ve seen before, a little refresher doesn’t hurt. My only complaint and it’s really just me being a little nit-picky is I wish each exercise was on one page… the instructions and the illustration. If you’re looking for a beginner friendly book on chair yoga, I’d recommend this one.

I found this guide straightforward and friendly. During coffee breaks, I sneak in seated stretches that loosen stiff ankles and stop my shoulders from squeaking. The gradual pace suits my laziness, and the drawings prevent me from inventing circus tricks.

If you’re over 60 and reckon yoga’s only for bendy young things, give this a go. It’s a fair dinkum way to keep moving without risking a trip to the physio. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay active, even if you’re just starting out. Cheers to the author for making fitness accessible for us seniors.

At 60 yrs of age it won’t be a good idea to do too much of work outs. Chair yoga is a simple way to do it without risking a joint pain. This book is very good which teaches you yoga while sitting. Go for it.
