Twisters brings back the blockbuster disaster epic with a whirlwind of heart-stopping action and exhilarating thrills. If you haven’t seen Twisters yet, you gotta check it out. I love the original Twister, one of my all-time favorites. This follow-up was actually solid. They didn’t mess around with the tornado scenes they’re insane. It’s got that same rush, but updated and crisper.I caught it in theaters, and it was intense. But it looked just as epic at home on my 70-inch OLED. Like, no drop-off in quality at all. The sound, the visuals still hit.What I really liked was how they wove in the science without getting too nerdy, and the characters actually made you care. And since I’m kind of obsessed with tornadoes, that was a nice touch just like the original.Definitely worth the watch.

I love a good natural disaster movie and this one was really good. We have tornadoes where I live and they have always fascinated and scared me.

I like the theme but had a hard time really liking the movie
I like storm chasing documentaries, and like the theme of the movie. I just was not that impressed with the characters or plot in this film. Maybe its just me but it felt like too much high schoolish drama that was kind of annoying, and too many AI generated twisters (mixed in with some real footage at least). I think building some suspense before everyone gets into the middle of a twister, and making the characters more likeable would have helped me enjoy it more. It was a decent film though overall.

Excellent movie! A top notch remake.
I just watched my new UHD BluRay of the movie Twisters. This is the 3rd time watching this movie. Twice via streaming and the third was watching this UHD BluRay disc. I really liked the original Twister movie but this remake is definitely one of my favorite movies now. It has it all. A good story, excellent characters that have great chemistry, and the Dolby ATMOS sound and visual effects are amazing. I was also impressed with the music/soundtrack. It had great music throughout the whole movie. The bonus features at the end of the disc that showed how they rendered the tornadoes and created the storms sound effects were very informative. This remake is definitely better than the original in my opinion. I highly recommend this movie and the UHD BluRay disc!

Make sure the DVD you purchase is suitable to play on your DVD player. I purchased this DVD last year and it won’t play on my DVD player. We didn’t watch straight away so out of the return time frame.
