Binged it!
This trilogy was such a nostalgic, emotional ride. It perfectly captures the feeling of summer—the sun, the sand, the sweetness, and the heartbreak. Summer Teen Nostaglia. Worth the read.
I loved this series! It was easy to read. I watched the TV series and wanted to see what the difference in the book vs TV. And the books did not disappoint. The second and third books each included one of the boys perspective, which always makes for better insight and visuals. There are slightly different storylines from book to TV series but I enjoyed the variation in both. This is definitely a series I would recommend to a teen or young adult. It was also fun, a little nostalgic, to read as an adult. I have a pre-teen who loves to read so I will definitely keep the series to read as she gets a little older.
