Are You Ready to Sign a Blood Pact with Bill?
Just in case you’ve been wondering what happened to Bill after the Gravity Falls finale—this book is for you! Written by none other than Bill Cipher himself, it invites you to uncover the answers to the greatest mysteries of life, the universe, and everything… in exchange for a tiny favor signed with a drop of your blood. Will you take Bill’s deal? Remember: if you continue reading, you’ve already accepted it.★★★★★ ArtThis is my first book in the series, and I was genuinely impressed by the creative approach of the author. The immersive effect of this book is unforgettable. It takes you through Bill’s stories and all the artifacts that have borne witness to his existence throughout human history. Starting with Bill’s early years, moving to his extraterrestrial escapades, eerie urban legends, mysterious cults worshiping the great triangle, and ending with stories of the anti-Cipher society, Bill’s influence on animation and pop culture, and even his first computer capable of mass hypnosis. Each chapter is brilliantly illustrated, showcasing the author’s creativity.★★★★☆ TextArt alone wouldn’t work without the corresponding text, and this book delivers. The quotes on the cover and the first few pages prepare you for the book’s ominous curse, making you question whether you’re truly ready to form a pact with Bill. I actually closed the book at first to reflect, chills running down my spine. However, as you read further, the feeling shifts to humor, riddles, and Gravity Falls lore. The book is packed with stories, fun facts, mysterious puzzles, and even dialogues with Bill, who often invites you for a chat. To top it off, a quarter of the book features missing pages from Journal 3 by Ford Pines, offering insights into his long-standing acquaintance with Bill. While the final journal section is enthralling, the middle part of the book dragged a little for me. The author starts on a peak of creativity, but sustaining it throughout is a challenging task.★★★★★ Book DesignThe book’s design, layout, and format are superb. The carefully chosen fonts complement the art and theme, making the text easy to read. The jacket is pleasant to the touch, though it might wear out over time. The layouts are immersive, giving the impression of stepping into a museum of madness—an experience you’ve agreed to by opening the book. The missing Journal 3 pages are also exceptionally designed, making them feel like authentic pieces of a long-lost mystery.★★★★★ Price and AvailabilityThis book is currently easy to find and worth every penny. As of autumn 2024, I managed to get a very good pre-owned copy for under $19, and by December 2024, prices for some copies had dropped to as low as $12.★★★★★ Overall ImpressionsThe Book of Bill has earned its place as the third Gravity Falls book to become a New York Times bestseller, achieving the title within a month of release—and that speaks volumes! I was unbelievably lucky to snag the Barnes & Noble exclusive edition featuring a yellow Bill (instead of the red one) on the cover for the price of the standard version. This edition includes 16 extra pages of content, making it a must-have for fans.If you’re a Gravity Falls fan, the B&N edition is worth the hunt. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and can confidently say I’ve never encountered another book that made me pause at the very beginning, asking myself: “Am I truly ready to read this and, in doing so, sign a pact with Bill?” Brilliant!

A Fun, Twisted Dive into the Mind of Bill Cipher
Gravity Falls: Book of Bill is a must-have for fans of the show who can’t get enough of the mysterious, chaotic energy of Bill Cipher. Written in a style that perfectly matches Bill’s unhinged personality, the book offers a unique perspective—filled with cryptic messages, clever references, and that trademark Gravity Falls weirdness. The artwork is bold and surreal, and the tone captures Bill’s voice so well that you can practically hear him cackling off the page. There’s a lot of hidden content and clever nods to the show’s lore, making it a great collectible for anyone who enjoys decoding puzzles or diving deeper into the Gravity Falls universe. It’s not a traditional storybook—more of a chaotic journal filled with Bill’s twisted insights, drawings, and commentary—but that’s exactly what makes it special. If you’re a fan of Journal 3, you’ll appreciate this darker, more anarchic companion.

You are judging a book by its cover??
To preface this – I know about Gravity Falls and have watched (and enjoyed) a handful of episodes a few years ago with my now teenager son. I haven’t watched enough to know the premise, character names, demons etc. Only knew that it was about funny paranormal stuff. And that Mabel was my favorite. With that being said… When my teenage son asked for a book I immediately obliged without doing any research. Just purchased to capitalize on the fact that my teenage son wants to read something. As soon as it arrived I was curious because the book cover looked a bit creepy so I ran to the reviews. Lots of…. opinions lolHowever, I chose to sit and read this book with my son vs complain about it at surface level. We ended up cracking up at most pages and very much enjoyed it. A lot of it is really silly teenager humor, outrageous situations and some pop culture references.Yeah, there’s mention of demons, monsters, alternate realities and spells…. but it’s not training your child to be an occultist. Not by any means, so please relax. Theres a whole 3 pages dedicated to a 2 billion year old Time Baby who just learned what a cow sounds like. It’s silly, not scary. The creepiest page to me was one where you have to read it in a mirror because it’s backwards. But only because I hate perceiving myself. As far as the literary value – appropriate reading level for teenagers. Has some decent “big words” which always help add to their vocabulary. The pages are formatted in a way that keeps the reading interesting and fun, vs bricks of paragraphs. Great funny graphics that made me personally laugh out loud many times. If you are cool with occasional and very mild “occult” references, and can appreciate some silly humor or like watching the show… I definitely recommend this book. We really enjoyed it and spent good time together reading for fun.

Amazing book.I watched Gravity Falls in high school, and it’s been years since I thought much about it. I bought this book as an impulse buy, and a second layer I thought that maybe I had grown up a bit too much to actually like it.THE BOOK IS FRICKING HILARIOUS. I genuinely laughed out loud several times. It’s the marvellous sweet spot between creepy AF and nonsense that makes it too absurd to not have a great time. There are also hint of lore and cyphers to solve sprinkled on top, which is just *chef’s kiss*If you want to simply chill and have a great (and very weird) time, this is a must-read.
