I’ve been practicing yoga for some time now, and Ive purchased my fair share of mats. I kept seeming to have a problem: the cushioned mats would get slippery, and the gripped mats were hard on my knees (they would hurt). This mat solved that issue. It has some cushion, but keeps you sturdy (even if very sweaty). In fact, it absorbs the sweat, which creates more grip. It’s also priced well, and very stylish. The purchase is worth it.

This yoga mat felt like they thought about this product! It comes in a nice travel drawstring bag with mesh around the top to ventilate after a sweaty session. It also comes with a yoga mat strap to carry it. The rubber bottom layer is THICK, easy on joints, and COMFORTABLE! The printed material is super soft, and beautiful, to the point I felt kind of bad stepping on it! This yoga mat is exactly what I needed to step back into my yoga practice after putting myself in the backburner because if children. Seriously, this mat will respect an “out of practice practitioner.” just buy it!

It’s a super cute yoga matt! But I just started yoga so I didn’t know any better. Now that I know better I would I order a thicker one.

Smooth NOT slippery!
Ok. Let’s be clear. This is a suede-TPE blend yoga mat. It is obviously not going to be grippy like other mats, but it is smooth! It isn’t slippery like a bare floor. For the first few weeks, my hands occasionally slid a little in down dog… but I mean *barely* slid.After two months of use, my hands and feet rarely slide in down dog. It may help to wipe down the mat after you first get it. I did not, and am guessing a little use either helped remove a top layer of whatever from the factory, or an accumulation of oil from my hands and feet helped create a little traction.I tried five different mats of different thicknesses and materials. This one is padded but not super thick. And… it’s longer than most, which is a nice add.Honestly, I LOVE THIS MAT. The “green” really more shades of blue with gold birds makes me happy to see for my beginner 10-minute morning yoga sessions, and is calming for my 15-minute evening yoga sessions. If you are a real practicing yogi (unlike me), this probably isn’t the mat for you. I imagine you will be annoyed by the lack of grippiness needed for more sophisticated positions.I tried a rubber mat and it felt like… rubber. I hated it. I love this mat’s smooth, soft feel which actualy makes it easier to transition from one posotion to another.There was a light smell, no strong odor out of the box. The carry case I received is not as pictured. It is all one piece, no mesh. I bought a nicer case anyway.So, yeah, I really love this yoga mat.

Slippery
I live love the look, but I find the surface is really just a bit too slick. My hand slip and I have a hard time in certain poses.

Worst recommendation I’ve received from Amazon. The complete opposite of what I was looking for.
Much prettier in the picture. Worst yoga mat I have ever used – I did a product search for extra thick, plush yoga mat and this popped up at the number one result. It absolutely is NOT extra thick, plush or wide. It is a skinny, thin, flimsy yoga mat that feels exactly like doing yoga on a concrete floor. Very disappointed that I didn’t pay closer attention to the dimensions. It is a terrible purchase and I would NOT recommend this brand to anyone.

Great Yoga Mat
I love this mat! It has great cushion for sitting on the floor and stretching. The rub under side is also great so it doesn’t slip around in the floor when you are doing a yoga flow. It’s also very light weight compared to other yoga mats I have owned.
