Best placemats I have ever owned! They are easy to clean and don’t slide around. Love the color too! I saw them in a restaurant and loved them so I found them on Amazon and purchased them. So happy I did.

Great Placemats!
I love having these placemats to use on our counters! We use them where we do meal prep on an island counter. They are easy to clean and I love the design on them! The only thing I would like better is if they were longer. They are expensive as others have written, but I love the design enough and was only buying two that it was worth it.

Finally, a functional placemat!
I purchased 4 of these to use atop a tablecloth for a kitchen table. Traditional placemats are a mess… always dirty and often harder to clean than a tablecloth.. These placemats are made of lightweight silicone and are flexible, easy to clean, and they don’t move around on the table. They offer an excellent level of protection against food, crumbs, spills, scratches, etc. In other words, they do exactly what a placemat is supposed to do. They aren’t easy to wipe off with a dry towel, but they rinse off very well at the sink and dry very quickly. While hot plates or dishes aren’t usually a problem, the instructions specifically state not to attempt to use them as a trivet.Each placemat was a bit expensive at $18 each, but I suspect that they’ll last a long, long time, and again, they do what they are meant to do. The mats appear somewhat milky in color, not as clear as one might think. The silver stripes in this particular style are a nice contrast, but aren’t glaringly reflective or bright. I recommend these to anyone looking for a functional placemat.

Well-made Placemat
Thickness is perfect for use on dining table and absolutely protects the counter when placing pots from stove to counter. Does not slide. A bit expensive and designs limited but well worth the price and if design choice is not a major issue. They are great as a gift item, too. This is not our first purchase of Modern Twist mats and will not be the last.

Great kiddo placemat
I got this for my three year old daughter’s spot at the table and it’s great. We have similar woven-style placemats at all of the other seats and so this makes her spot look *essentially like the others//not so kiddo* while still being super easy to wipe up and clean after inevitable rice explosions/infinite spilled milks. This doesn’t “stick down” like other kiddo-specific silicon placemats so I might not use it for a younger kiddo or a grabby kiddo, but it works great to denote her spot, protect the table, and make spills and messes no big deal. It cleans up easily and dries quickly (since it’s silicon/heat-proof, we’ll often hang it on the grate next to our woodstove and it dries in, like, 30 seconds), works great, and looks nice. It shipped folded and so occasionally you can still see the fold lines which is, literally, the only bummer.

they arrive permanently stained
i love the white silicone placemats. But at 17$ EACH, they arrive unprotected and with stains you cannot remove. I returned them twice, every time its the same issue. NO MORE !this company has gone down the drain

Just like the name, a modern twist on placemats!
So easy to clean and store away. It is pricey, but the material is fantastic. It’ll keep for years to come, justifying the price. So far, nothing has stained on it. I usually hold the edges up, carry it to the sink, and shake off any crumbs or other food particles before wiping clean to store away. I love the design, and it goes great in my kitchen/dining room. Love, love, love this placemat!

these are some of the nicest placemats i have ever seen. i like that they are not bulky. the silicone is nice to the touch and adds protection to the table from hot items. the pattern is very attractive. they were pricey but worth every penny. very happy with this purchase.
