I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a thermometer, so I gave this lower-cost Thermapen model a try—and I’m seriously impressed. It’s fast, accurate, and feels really sturdy in hand. No flimsy plastic or cheap parts here.The temperature readings are quick and spot-on, which makes grilling and cooking way less stressful. It’s also easy to use—just unfold it and you’re good to go. The display is clear, and it turns off on its own to save battery, which is a nice bonus.For the price, you really can’t beat the quality. The guide on the side makes this thermometer super versatile—my children can easily check meat temperatures themselves. I love that it’s magnetized, so we can hang it right on the refrigerator for quick access. It works great and has become an essential tool for grilling and cooking in our kitchen!

Great Thermometer
Great inexpensive grilling thermometer. It turns on when you pivot the prong out straight eliminating the need for a manual switch. Display is easy to read, and it comes with an extra battery. The back is magnetic, so it sticks to the front on the side shelf on my grill. Seems to work well.

Great thermometer.
This is a great meat thermometer. Very well made and the setup was very easy right out of the box. Easy to ready display and has a backlight option as well. Instructions to zero it out fie accuracy were very simple. Just put it in a cup full of ice water and it read 32 degrees.Has worked very well and is mostly used while grilling so far. Provides an immediate feedback (1-2 seconds). There is also a “go by” chart printed right on the side of the thermometer which provides various recommended readings for a variety of different meats.Very good construction and materials and feels like it will hold up. Comes with a rechargeable cable and charged up very quickly. Have not had to recharge it to date and there have been many uses.Highly recommend.

Accurate and easy to use, but not waterproof.
This is a nice thermometer.It’s easy to use and accurate and worked well for a few months.But while the description says it is waterproof, it is not.Ours quit working due to what looked to condensation inside of it.The only time this saw water is when we hand washed it.But customer service was outstanding in replacing it with a new one within a matter of days.Thank to Kamila for quickly replacing it.I’m hoping this one lasts longer because this is a decent little thermometer.

A must have in the kitchen
This works pretty much as advertised. I had a similar thermometer that seemed to take a while to take the temperature (kept clicking up) this one is much faster if not instant. Has the features I have come to rely on – a quick mini guide on the thermometer, easy to clean, easy to read. If you cook any kind of meat, you need a thermometer. Takes all the guess work out of how long to cook anything, and you end up with perfectly done meat.

I really like the auto on feature this has. The temperature is easy to read with the back light and the magnet is a great feature, too. I would buy this again because it works well and the price was fair.

Excellent product – reasonable price – amazingly fast delivery.
Ordered Thursday evening about 6:15 pm. Arrived about 11:00 am Friday!! Now that’s definitely one day delivery – Less than! Ordered 2 – one for the house and one for the motorhome. Previous old ones had quit. Great quality – nice and robust. Doesn’t feel cheap like many of these things do. Nicely packaged. Nice clear instructions in good English. Folds nice and compact. Water resistant. Lifetime warranty. Even came with a spare battery!! That’s about 25% of the price right there. Does everything perfectly. You can even recalibrate it if you ever need or want to, which most of the (slightly) cheaper (or not) ones your can’t. Fast reading. Excellent display with backlight button. Useful hold button and so you can read it conveniently with out rushing. Very easy to use. There are similar ones available, but this looked to be the best. And one really nice thing – it came with a meat temperature and grilling tips chart that was over and above anything else I have ever come across. VERY informative and helpful. Not just the usual minimal information. I laminated them to use and not get messed up. The only feature it does not have that one other does, is a magnet. But both our fridges are non-magnetic stainless steel and I’m not going to stick on the grill and melt it. I don’t write reviews very often, but I am very impressed with this product and happy to highly recommend it. If I could find anything negative to say, it would be on Amazon, not the product. They wasted a big empty cardboard box for two tiny packages smaller than a tube of tooth paste rattling around in it. A padded envelope would have been more appropriate, but who knows what was going in the warehouse, so who am I to make assumptions and criticize?

Very pleased with this, having a meat thermometer was a break through for cooking as no longer cook it to death to make sure it is done. I had a simple one before that did not turn off and eventually got broken, so I replaced with this one. Very easy to use, folding the probe over makes it less likely to break and turns it off saving battery.I have a metal surround oven door so stays on that with no issueVery happy with this and does what you expect

i even tested the accuracy, i compared it with the thermometer from hospital, it reads the exact body temperature as the hospital thingy
