    Well Thought Out Concept
I love the daily entry concept and the fact that every prompt is different. I wish there was a little more space to write but still a great book nonetheless especially for the price. Concept is very well thought out. I bought another journal that literally has the same page for the entire book. Definitely would not have bought it if I realized that. Very lazy concept – I could do that in my own spiral notebook. This, on the other hand, you can tell that a lot of thought and care was put into making it for users.

Writing promos for healthy state of mind
Love this book, I’m working on my mental health and this book with writing prompts enables me to journal daily

  3. Jeannie

    I’m enjoying these prompts
As soon as I hit the order confirmation button, I thought I’d probably just wasted my money. I had the same thought when I received the book, but I’ve been using it daily ever since and am enjoying the prompts and believe they are actually helping my stress levels. Not only do the prompts help me identify and reduce my stressors, they are helping me to see ways to help myself in various areas of my life. I’m currently on week 9 and I feel so much happier and less stressed. Much cheaper and less time consuming than the counselor I was considering seeing. Most of the prompts can be answered in just a few minutes but occasionally one will hit a nerve and I find myself writing (and solving my issues) for 30 minutes or more. I’m so glad I purchased this journal. It really is helpful.

Great info, hard to write in book.
The guided journal is well written and gives great ideas each day to focus on for the week. Writing in the journal, though is difficult due to the binding. It does not lay flat and is very awkward to write.

    Not Quite What I Expected
3 stars is for an okay journal (or maybe it’s just me).I keep starting and stopping this journal.Partly because I’m avoiding the physical wellness journaling (didn’t expect that and wasn’t looking for that- maybe, even though physical health is a part of mental wellness, the title should reflect that) and part because some questions (and the next plan of action) are too deep for me to just hurry through in a day or week (could use more space to reflect in writing even though the lines are okay and spaced nicely, more space would be a plus).I often sit with this to journal, and enjoy it, but then get stuck on a big plan of action prompt. Other times I get a bit bored with a little repetition it seems to have. So then I don’t touch it for weeks (not what I wanted or planned).I like the reading material in the front matter. The sections are labeled:Calm & ResiliencyHealthy LivingConnection & Engagement (which I don’t need and was surprised to see)Goals & PurposeI think that if it were just Calm & Resiliency and Goals & Purpose it would have flowed better for me (and with some “many” more lines for writing) I would utilize it better. But if you need all four areas of what this journal covers then this is probably for you.I just think it’s not what I expected.Oh, it is a very beautifully designed journal. Nice quality. So makes a nice gift and/or feels sturdy and holds up nicely. Pages are thick, nice quality there. Colors are very soothing .
