Thick and sturdy
We installed these brackets on a cross beam and support in the middle of our vaulted ceiling in a new construction. It gives the look I was hoping for. More than that, the brackets were built sturdy, more than just decorative. We had installed the beams well, but these help add extra strength and look good doing it.

Sturdy for the job
I work with a lot 4X4 beams around the farm for various projects and repairs. I am one that likes to make sure that everything I build is durable and safe. I don’t like to worry about any not lasting, especially since time is not on my side! I usually drive a long lag screw into a bean supporting another, and then a sturdy bracket to give them an extra strength and making them more stable. These are smaller plates, so I would not use them on larger projects. I basically use them on fencing connection, not really weight bearing. I love the modern look to them with the black powdered coating up against the wood.

Incorrect type hardware.
The bracket itself seems to be sturdy and made well. My complaint is the misleading images of 8mm hexhead screws and bit shown in the image. What you actually get are phillips head screws with a conical bottom. The bracket does not have counter sunk holes so the screws don’t sit flush. I temporarily installed the brackets but will be replacing the screws with the correct ones

Solid construction; versatile use.
These steel plates aren’t going to be used for deck railing or joist or mail post bracket — instead, I’m using them as support for my 1/2″ thick computer desk so that I can mount a 3-monitor stand (the stand mounts via a clamp).That said, the plate may be overkill for my usage but I wanted something tough and rated to provide that additional support for something heavier than 3 modern IPS monitors. The package comes with the necessary hardware if you are going to use it as intended.These were on sale when I received them and ended up being cheaper than actual support plates for monitor clamps, plus peace of mind knowing they’ll do the job and then some.

Great quality bracket
Brackets are really nice and exactly what we were looking for. I would have given 5 stars but the screws began to rust in 2 days. Replaced the screws with outdoor screws and looks amazing!

Wood Post Mounting Plates And Hardware
This is a set of two plates and mounting hardware. The plates are made from high quality thick steel that has a black weather and corrosion resistant coating. Each plate has predrilled holes that allow you to screw (with supplied screws) the plate to the post. Then you simply bolt the plates to your mounting surface with the supplied anchors.Would recommend these to anyone.
