Customers say
Customers find the hand mixer works well and appreciate its powerful performance, with one noting it’s strong enough to handle dense dough. They like its compact design with storage, ease of use, and consider it worth the price. The speed receives mixed feedback – while some find it efficient, others mention the first speed is too fast. Build quality is also mixed, with some saying it’s well-made while others report it’s not built to last.

Works Great So Far
I was a bit wary of purchasing this item. I saw it in a store and thought the beaters might be too flimsy and then read the mixed reviews here and thought maybe it wouldn’t be powerful enough or last long. I read the reviews of several other mixers as well, though, and all of them had mixed reviews.I also wasn’t sure if the cord placement would bother me or not. My older mixer, which I’ve had for over ten years, works just fine, but the cord comes out the front (the side with the beaters) aimed in the same direction as the beaters. It’s impossible to use it without the cord curving up and either ending up in the bowl or sliding around on the counter (possibly knocking stuff over). It’s a nuisance, and the main reason I decided to get rid of the old mixer. Since this Cuisinart mixer also has the cord on the front, I actually decided on another mixer; however, that mixer was out of stock everywhere I looked. In the end, I decided to try this one because I have a couple of other Cuisinart items that have a matching finish, and I liked the idea of the storage case and the whisk attachment. The cord does not bother me at all. The cord comes out of the mixer aimed for the bottom of the mixer, so when you are mixing, it hangs down where it should, and doesn’t curl back up toward the mixer. Also, the little thing that allows you to turn the cord one way or another works great to keep the cord out of the way while mixing. So far, I’ve used this mixer to make chocolate chip cookies and frosting for a birthday cake. My daughter used it to make the birthday cake. The beaters held up well and worked fantastic. I had also wondered if it wouldn’t mix well with the wire beaters, but it mixed just fine, better than any other mixer I’ve used. The lack of a post in the middle of the beaters and the thinner beaters meant that I didn’t have excess dough or batter on the beaters either. The cookies came out great. With my old mixer(s), I only mixed the wet ingredients and then stirred in the dry ingredients by hand. I decided to try mixing in the flour with this mixer and it handled it just fine. Actually, it was better than fine. When I mix by hand, it’s always difficult to make sure all the flour gets mixed in, and this mixer did that with no problem at all–no pockets of flour underneath the dough. The recipe I used did not make an extremely heavy dough, though. The cake also came out pretty well. This mixer had no trouble mixing the batter well, and the frosting was light and fluffy. So far, I’m very pleased. The one thing I didn’t like was storing the cord in with the clean attachments. I solved this by folding up the cord with the attached tie, and then inserting this into a small sandwich bag before putting it into the storage case. This has worked fairly well.I did notice the slight surge when you turn it on that others have noticed. When I turn mine on, it hesitates for a second, then surges slightly, and then slows down to the correct speed. I know this is supposed to be a slow start and it’s not really slow, but I didn’t find it to be a problem or to make a mess. The slight surge is only for a second or maybe two. Not a big deal for me.I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks now, so only time will tell if I’ll have trouble with the motor or any other problems. For now, I’m very pleased.

Replacing my 30 year old Cuisinart Mixer
Love my new mixer. I purchased this to replace a mixer also from Cuisinart that I had gotten as a wedding gift 30 years ago! Love that it comes with the container to hold all of the accessories so I don’t have to dig in my drawers to find matching beaters… and it keeps it clean and organized. Very happy with the power and speed options, great value for the price.

Powerful and practical for storage
This hand blender is wonderful. It has many power settings, works very well, and is super practical to store.

Pretty good but there are a few issues
First the good:I like the container that snaps on the bottom and keeps all the pieces together. The beaters are easy to clean. The cord swivels on both the left and right to stay out of the way. It’s a powerful mixer. Now the issues:The kneading attachments aren’t good. Usually they aren’t on this type of mixer. They just don’t do much. Another problem is that the mixer starts off fast then slows down to the slowest speed. That’s a problem when you’re mixing in a lot of flour and want to start with a slow speed to prevent the flour from blowing everywhere. The biggest problem is that the beaters rotate around “backwards”. Usually the beaters turn, so the batter in front of the beaters is pulled back towards the back of the mixer. This way, when you approach the side of the bowl, the stuff on the side is pulled towards mixer. This model, the beaters turn so the batter behind the beaters is pulled towards the front. If I approach the side of a bowl with the front of the mixer, the batter is pulled from the back to the front of the bowl and it pushes the batter on the side up the side of the bowl.Otherwise, I like the mixer.

Excellent powerful hand mixer
Love this mixer! The price was right I caught it on sale. I had had an old Hamilton Beach what a piece of junk it smelled like burning plastic. This is a total upgrade you will not be disappointed as always it is a great product.

Worst buy ever. I bought the product and exchanged it the first time time since it wasn’t working.. thinking I’ll get a new piece. They sent back the same product and worse a damaged stabiliser as some sort of consolation.. tried a billion phone calls but no luck. That product now sits wasted and my money all down the drain. Basically neither Amazon nor the seller want to make any effort.

I read several reviews for this mixer both good and bad but decided to order it anyway. I live in Canada and they don’t carry this model here so I ordered it without being able to check it out. The storage case clips in and out without any problem but the cord takes up most of the room in the case so the accessories have to go somewhere else which is no big deal to me. The fast start and then slow down is not a problem, it is not any louder than any other mixer and it is not too heavy like I read in the reviews. It has plenty of power for cakes, cookies and muffins. I have not tried the dough hooks for bread yet but probably will be fine. I like the digital speed control with the up down buttons instead of the old slide switch. Although I haven’t had it very long I can recommend this mixer to replace any old hand mixer you may be using. Time will tell how long it lasts but for now I really like this mixer with the storage case and stand. It came on time and nicely packaged by Amazon.

Looks like a nice product cannot be used in the UK. Purchased on amazon.co.uk in the uk. What is the point of selling a US wired produce without warning people???

I bought this for a gift to be used in the UK, and when my daughter went to use it it had a USA plug, she used an adapter and it blew up.
