  1. R. Chapman

    Easy to install
Exactly what I needed. Easy to install.

  2. Jeffrey Dionne

    Decent product
No complaints, works as it should and looks great.

  3. Revuta Giesbrecht

    Good and bad
This handle is 100% cast iron. So very limited where it can be used. Also cast iron is actually brittle if the door gets slammed or yanked on. I bought several and one broke during installation by just tightening one screw too much by hand. Also requires a lot of precise holes to be drilled and fiddled with to work properly. Much more difficult to install than a regular door handle, think craftsman level of skill here. The only real use for this is in a 100 year old house thats getting a authentic restoration and even then the locking feature on this handle is mostly useless. I would not buy this again or suggest it to anyone.

  4. Bradley Rinker

    Classic simplicity
These were an exact replica to what was originally in this home. I was amazed they were still being manufactured. Quality was good although a few sharp edges were present. Directions were simple, thorough, and easy to follow.

  5. KC

    High quality rustic thumb-latch
This latch handle is high quality, heavy duty metal made in India. It is much sturdier than other thumb-latches we have and the mechanism operates smoothly. Plus, the lock mechanism is simple and effective. Overall it adds an authentic rustic look to the door.

  6. Mike Bradley

    Great door handle
Used for bedroom door, looks and works great!

  7. Brian Bel

    Assembly frustrating
If you want a handle that is insanely frustrating to try to put together with absolutely zero directions, look no further, this is the one for you!The first one I purchased wouldn’t go together because of burs on the middle and eventually broke when I tried to force it together. I returned and got another one.I thought I was a pretty smart guy until I tried to put this handle together. I’m completely lost and the directions are useless.

  8. Rob

Catches reliably, looks great; just be sure to install a gate stop
Looks great, assembled easier than I thought.Absolutely essential that you install a gate stop— do not rely upon the hardware in this kit to stop the gate as it swings closed. It’s cast iron; even if the individual components don’t break from the stress the shallow screws will start to work themselves out.
