Skinny , at 5 mm inside diameter ( I.D.)
I bought “Chef Craft Select Plastic Flexible Halloween Straws, 8 Inch 100 Piece Set, Black/Orange ” to use to extend the too-short perches on my bird feeder seed tubes. They are of proper good quality and the color is same as photo — not purchased for the purpose of drinking a liquid, however. And yeah, they are probably one step from being as skinny as a cocktail stirrer-straw.The small birds at my typical backyard seed-tube were observably having an easier time of getting the seeds — Why? because I had already added 2 inches to the perches, using the entirety of my kitchen’s junk drawer one plastic straw from a while back. Before adding that length, the birds were wasting calories while scrunching up on the tiny perch to get the food — I know, I know, worse things happen.For the rest of the perches, I cut *these* new straws to length needed, and I am now looking for a better solution — because these new straws are too small to fit the perches. These straws are right at 5 mm inside diameter (I.D.), as measured with a steel metric ruler. I wanted a durable solution and was concerned about sticky tape + birds’ feet. It’s too hard to get *accurate* info about a plastic straw’s diameter, ya’ll. Tape/glue are damaging to birds, toxic, won’t stick to other plastic, anyway. I will just drill new holes in the seed tube and then use the tree’s small twigs: no sticky hazards, no plastic — DUH. This whole thing sounds silly, but there is nothing gained by making songbirds struggle any more than they already are nowadays. My big, shallow at 1.5″ deep bird bath is extremely popular, btw.

Pretty holiday straws. I reuse them.
I know, I know, plastic straws!But I use a straw cleaner to reuse these.They keep the festive holiday theme going & I will continue using them.They are thin so if you’re a glutton or chugalug, you won’t like them.

Makes my drink last longer! Love these.
I love how skinny these are. I make my iced coffee drinks at home because it’s too expensive at the shops, and they taste so much better home-made, but I found that I was finishing them SOOOO quickly, and the solution for me was a thinner straw! Makes the drink last longer.

Only 4 stars as the straws a lot thinner than what I was expecting. But as far as adding a finishing touch to my holiday party table, they’re a must and would order again.

Bought these for Christmas Eve and day. They were plastic not paper straws which I like to use. Also couldn’t find red and green I was glad when I can across them. Also have plenty for next time
