Nice Remedies and Recipes
This book is informative and has a great deal of useful information; however, it’s not quite what I expected in terms of recipes formulated for long term shelf life. I was looking for additional recipes to possibly test new product formulations which this particular book isn’t exactly suited for, but definitely great for personal home remedies. The tea recipes are excellent and I did note a few tincture recipes that proved to be quite beneficial. Overall a great resource to have on hand for personal use.

My review is based on looking through the book without trying any of the recipes.I love this book! Lots of information on a variety of herbs and recipes. I love that there is an index for both the herb and also by the ailments, this makes it super easy to look up things. There are some things I wish she had provided recipes for, example, a salve for headaches. She does provide recipes for headaches, like tea and a compress, but a headache salve would have been great as well. But I get that she can only cover so much and I can just find a recipe online for it.I’m looking forward to trying out some of these recipes and probably tweeking them as I go along to what works best for me.
