No Drawbacks for me…perfect for school office!
LOVE this cheap lamp!! Easy to assemble! LOVE that it can do both COOL and WARM tone light under the gray shade with the included bulb. And, the shipping box is relatively small if you’re having to tote it like I did. I’m buying another one for my son’s first apartment. Do not hesitate. Purchase it!~

It works
The lamp is short but where I have it sitting, the height actually works.Love the bronze color.Was easy to put together.I was a little concerned when I saw how the lampshade was rolled up very small and the box said to paste the shade together. You do not need to actually paste it. It comes with little clips inside the shade that you hook onto the rings that comes with it. And then you velcro the two ends together. The only thing I didn’t like about it is the little button that you step on to turn it on and off is very close to the lamp and I have the lamp behind a sectional. So I’m going to have to velcro the button up the pole for access. Otherwise it would be useless because that is the only way it works is with the button. There is no other way to turn it on and off. I do like the bulb that came with it and the different kinds of light it has. That’s very nice. I cannot speak to durability as I just got it today. Although if you have little children in the house I do not see this surviving for very long. I would recommend one of those lamps you can attach to the wall. I like the look and the price. I just wish the button on the cord came out more.

Nice tall lamp
Nice tall lamp. Great for a simple yet sophisticated look the warm- cool 3 way bulb gives you 3 different lighting looks from warm cozy to cool reading light. The shade is nicely made and it is easy to put together. Im impressed , I was a bit sceptical if the shade came in a box it would dented , but its not. Better than any tall lamp I ever bought at Walmart or Target.I would buy this again.

Great quality for $$$
Bought 2 of these, and then another. They are extremely well-packed, went together pretty easily after a quick read-through of instructions– shade is slightly fidgety to assemble, but IMO looks good when complete. Heavy base and rest of hardware is good quality, 2 of 3 were 100% straight, the other needed a small shim, but that might be my floor as much as the light. As others have mentioned, the foot switch is very lightweight (fights the cord to sit flat) but I’m using them with smart bulbs, so that’s not an issue for me. Repurposed the included bulbs that came with them in an overhead fixture. Would definitely buy this light again and would consider the brand for other products going forward.
