Best live action
I cant say im httyds biggest fan because there’s always someone crazier, but if i had the money id definitely be the biggest fan in the world. The people who judged this movie for the actors are insane and weird, because this movie was as close to capturing the magic of the animated movie as it possibly could. Httyd will always be held close to my heart and Dreamworks will hopefully continue being the best studio.

I was skeptical, but this was an AMAZING film!
Don’t let all the negative reviews stop you from enjoying this movie. I am NOT a fan of taking animated movies and remaking them, especially ones as precious as HTTYD. Lilo and Stitch was DREADFUL, as nearly all of them are.Is this movie as precious as the original? No, not quite, but it comes pretty dang close.The actors and were superb, and the directors did a magnificent job staying true to the story and filling the cast with youngsters who both spoke like and resembled their predecessors.My 7 year old grandson said he liked it even better than the original. I can’t go that far, but I will say that I don’t believe they could have done a better job than what they did.If you’re determined not to like it, don’t bother. If you’re hoping for the best, you’re going to get it.

WHY ISN’T THERE A 3D BLURAY VERSION?
I saw this in the theaters in 3D and it was spectacular! Why isn’t the bluray being released in 3D too? This movie was made for 3d and now being released in flat, there are going to be so many beautiful scenes that won’t be as spectacular on our home screens. I’m getting so sick of movies that are released in 3d in the theaters not getting a 3D bluray too. The makers are so cheap so because of that I’m deducting two stars for this bluray and I’m not going to even purchase it. I will watch it for free on The Flixer website because the picture will be no different than the bluray. Until there is a 3D version of this movie, you will not get any more money out of me.

Great movie. Great live action adaptation of a children’s classic. Mason Thames isn’t excellent as is the rest of the cast. Can’t wait for movie #2, and can’t wait to watch this over and over.

A Must-Have for Dragon Fans!
I haven’t gotten my hands on this yet, but I’m beyond excited for its release! The fact that this is coming out as a combo set-4K, Blu-ray, and digital-is fantastic. I love having the flexibility to watch it wherever I am, whether it’s on my home theater or on the go. And that steelbook case? Chef’s kiss! It’s going to look amazing in my collection.As for the movie itself, it’s perfect! It could almost be played side-by-side with the animated version because they’re so incredibly similar, unlike some other recent live-action adaptations that completely butchered their source material by cutting major characters. I absolutely loved this movie, and I know I’ll thoroughly enjoy having this comprehensive set.

Omg such a good movie! They picked great actors to play the parts, Pretty spot on. They did such a good job of making this movie. I truly hope there will be a second one! Impressed is an understatement. One of my new favorite movies to watch. I will be watching it again! Must see!
